Maxel makes the most of your Internet bandwidth by splitting files into parts and downloading each part simultaneously. It saves the progress of your downloads, so you are able to continue your downloads when you restart your Mac computer. The Maxel program will finish your download, and then move on to the first available download in the list, trying each, until it finds a connection and starts receiving data. You may drag snippets of a website and drop them onto the tool, whereupon it will start downloading from the link on the web page.
